Manchester Culture celebrates the people, places, music and symbols that have shaped one of Britain's most influential cities. From iconic musicians and football clubs to the legendary Hacienda and the enduring Manchester Bee, this collection captures the spirit, creativity and pride that make Manchester unique.
Manchester Culture is an ongoing mosaic series dedicated to the artists, musicians, sporting institutions and cultural landmarks that have helped define Manchester's identity.
Created using hand-cut ceramic tiles, each piece explores a different aspect of the city's rich heritage. The collection includes tributes to influential musicians, iconic bands, football clubs, cultural symbols and historic venues that have left a lasting mark on Manchester and beyond.
From the revolutionary sounds of the Stone Roses, Morrissey and Richard Ashcroft to the global success of Manchester United and Manchester City, each mosaic celebrates the people and institutions that continue to inspire generations. The collection also honours the Manchester Bee, a symbol of resilience and community, and the legendary Hacienda nightclub, which helped shape modern music culture.
Together, these works form a visual celebration of Manchester's creativity, ambition and enduring cultural influence.
